Automate Overview
The Automate module allows you to quickly and easily set up automated processes for repetitive tasks.
On the Automate page, you’ll see a list of all previously created Automation Sets. Each entry displays the Set name, associated Smart Group, number of actions, a checkbox to enable or disable the automation, and buttons to edit or delete the Set.
Creating a New Automation Set
To create a new Automation Set, click on the “New Set” button at the top of the page.
1- Name your Automation Set.
2- Select a trigger from the following options:
- Player becomes online
- Player added
- Player moved to a location
- Player RAM usage
- Player with blank screen
3- If applicable, choose a Condition (this depends on the selected trigger).
4- Select the Smart Group where the automation will apply.
5- Click the green “+” icon to add one or more actions. Available actions include:
- Player Rename
- Player Reboot
- Change Hostname
- Change Time Zone
- Change Location
- Change Client
- Add Tag
- Remove all Tags
- Update Firmware
- Change DWS/SSH/LWS
- SD Card Cleanup
- Publish Presentation
- Publish Playlist
5- For each action, you’ll need to provide or select the necessary details.
6- Once everything is configured, click “Save.”
