A playlist is a
collection of audio
tracks, videos, images,
HTML, and other assets
organized in a particular
order that are grouped
together to create a
playlist that can be
published to your media
players.
In the Playlist
module, you will see a
list of previously created
playlists (if applicable).
Once a playlist has been
created, you can preview,
set the publishing mode
(standard or by tag),
duplicate, edit, or delete
it on this
screen.
Actions on the
Playlists
Table
Preview: To
preview your playlist,
simply click on the
Preview button. This will
open a pop-up window
displaying the content of
your playlist for a quick
view.
The preview of the playlist will not show the effects of settings and other options such as Shuffle, Condition, and When Playlist Ends.
- Note: We highly recommend that you implement a test setup that matches your project's conditions to preview your content as it will be displayed on your screens (player, SD card, screen and, the player network connection.
Publish
Mode: To
change the playlist
publish mode to "Publish
media that matches player
TAGs", click on the
"Standard" button. This
will ensure that only the
assets containing the same
tag as the players will be
published.
Edit: To
make any changes to your
playlist, click on the
Edit
button.

Please keep in mind
that before creating
a playlist, you must
have previously uploaded
your assets to the media
library. Please refer to
this help doc for more
information on Media
Library.
To create a New
Playlist, click on the New
Playlist button. Name your
playlist, select the the
presentation that will be
used, and Save
it.
Note: Please
remember that in this
case, "presentation"
refers to the templates
that you have previously
created in Bright Author
and uploaded to Zynchro.

Once you've named
your playlist and selected
the presentation you'll be
using, you'll find one or
several tabs. Each tab
corresponds to a specific
zone that you previously
created in your
presentation using Bright
Author.
From here, you'll
need to configure the
playlist and select assets
for each of the tabs
(zones):
If you want to
synchronize two or more
players to display content
simultaneously from the
same playlist or different
playlists (assuming they
have the same number of
assets and duration), turn
on the Sync
switch.
In the Master
field, enter the name of
the player that you want
to use as the master
player.
Shuffle
When the playlist is published, its assets will be randomly shuffled and displayed in a different order on each player.
Playlist
type
Select
Standard or Smart
List.
When selecting
Smart List, you'll be able
to choose playlist assets
based on their tags. Click
on the 'Select Tags'
button and the following
pop-up window will be
displayed:
Here you’ll see the
total playtime for your
playlist.
Click on Add at the bottom of the page.
Select the desired assets from the Media Library pop-up window.
Click on the save button.
The selected assets will be displayed on the Playlist assets table.

At
the top of the assets
table, you'll find four
bulk action buttons that
can be applied to the
entire
list:

Actions
- To
preview each asset,
simply click on its
thumbnail.
You can also search for assets on the Media Library using their respective Asset IDs.
By clicking on the Edit button, you'll have access to additional options such as setting the full-screen view and toggling the audio on or off for specific assets.
Click on the Delete button to delete the asset or mark the checkbox in several assets to delete them through the emerging Delete button on top of the table.
Conditions allow you to modify when a specific image, video, or HTML asset will be displayed. You can create these conditions based on any date or time.
Furthermore, you can
also include or exclude a
particular location by its
unique code, known as the
location ID as the
location.
Once a condition has
been created, the conditions
button will turn
green.
When playlist
ends
At
the bottom of the page,
you can select what
happens when your playlist
ends:
Loop:
The playlist will
continuously
repeat.
Repeat
for: Enter the number of times
you want the playlist to
repeat and the name of the
playlist you want to
display after the
specified number of
repetitions is
complete.
